The hc3sx has two options a bailout level button with optional climb upright/inverted. And a special horizon mode which levels the Heli perfectly and makes it as stable as a Heli coaxial like you'd buy at the mall. Both can be assigned to switches.

Auto climb is the best feature id never own another unit without such a feature.
Great, thanks for the clarification

An earlier comment said that they still have some GPS firmware issues to work out. You don’t want to buy something that will crash your helicopter due to a firmware bug.

So I am curious, if I enable the captain rescue, how do I stop it from climbing out of sight? Do I have to click the button again, or what do I do, how does the system know your back in control of it? Same idea with the sk720 who does it know you back in control of it.

You configure it on a spring switch. When you stop pressing the switch, you're back in control.

Its on an assigned switch of your choice with the Skookum. You can flip a switch in or out of self leveling, but you are always in control of all functions. The only difference is the heli will pull back level without input. You also set the percentage or strength of how much and how quickly the heli wants to level itself.

You can also set the self level to center stick where the heli will fly normally but will automatically self level if you release the sticks. No switch required this is probably best for those who can't react fast enough to flip the bailout switch. I know I have a habit of fighting the heli to the ground trying to recover rather than just bailing out sooner.

=] Soon, SK definition,

public release meets with testers approval, no exceptions! this system has to be so right from the onset, it's in good hands, trust me!

soon is progressive by definition, it has NO boundaries as such, non-tangible is another way to put it....

I think that Skookum’s definition of soon is maybe in the next couple of years.

Nice "soon" discussion

But I'm in georgi's team: It has to be 100% right on the first time.
Can't imagine what it will do to Skookums reputation if the birds fall out of the sky when switching GPS on.

Do it right

I agree 100%. It’s much better to take a few more months instead of having a bug crash helicopters. I will be happy if it’s out for beginning of the flying season next spring.

Was this with comic tone? Because there is no use of the mentioned "LOL".

It's not delayed since there was never a release date announced.
