Default furion 450 tail

does anyone know if the trex 450 tail assembly fits the furion 450? I just bent the tail hub on mine and I know that this part isn't available and hasn't been for some time so i'm looking for an alternative,
thanks
Anthony

Maybe the Beam E4
Tail rotor assembly

Or just the hub assuming the grips will fit.

Beam Tail output shaft is 3mm.

I tried to contact ma today by phone but there was no answer,
thank you for the very kind and generous offer corvette and copter guy I would hate to take parts from you as I know that as soon as you sent them you would need them , I stocked up to when I could but things like tail hub have been in short supply for a long time now.
I did buy an align hub as it looked similar and most of the dimensions are right apart from the stubs for the main bolt were to long so I trimmed them down a bit and got it to work, I think i'm going to retire the furion , which is a damn shame as I like it a lot but there are just no parts available, I've had my name on a waiting list at ron lunds for over a year now for some of the parts, and now it seems that the main gear is now $25, that's just too rich for me

Thank you, Anthony.

I have a Furion I purchased from a friend a few years ago. If flies well and I used it for a demo vehicle for KBDD Paddles and Tail Blades for a while (which worked very well):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miJ27...CRKXw7b1Ftkr3A

That video was made when a few folks made the comment that a 450 would not fly smoothly with KBDD Paddles (so I took the quickest 450 on the market at the time, the Furion, installed KBDD Paddles with the Flybar in the rear hole, and did the video to disprove the comments). The machine was really quick on cyclic (quicker than with the stock paddles) yet very smooth.

I am interested in keeping it and converting it to FBL with a Robird, at some point.

As for the Warp, I have had one for several months and it flies great. It is being used as a test vehicle for KBDD Main Blades, as well as going with me to Fun Flies (stable, sharp, quick, and well made).

I converted mine to fbl and it flies superbly its a real shame if ma lets it go. I managed to get the tail rotor hub sorted out and it seems ok, I ran 4 batteries through it this morning, just in case any one is interested I took an align 450 tail hub, put an old bearing from the furion tail blade holders on the stubby part and ground the bit that was sticking out down to the bearing, I did this on both sides(obviously) and then used the ma tail blade holders, everthing went together well, all lined up and I was able to use nearly all of the ma parts, hopefully they will start supporting this little heli so that I can continue to fly it

If you convert to FBL go with the Mikado head. After trying other options the Mikado head is simply the best...hands down!

I might look into a Warp head, too.

I have to measure the shaft diameter on both, as I can never remember.

You use the stock main shaft and swash. Everything up from there is Mikado and comes as a complete package. You will have to use other links. I use titanium turnbuckles that make set-up a breeze.

Did you resolve the tail hub issue? I have a complete, immaculate MA 450 with a ton of parts which has been sitting on my desk for well over a year. Might be more than you're looking for, obviously.

I had to modify the align hub slightly but it did work, basically the hub is too long in standard align form so I filed the boss down until there was a small gap with the tail blade holder fitted , I flew it this way for at least 20 flights with no problem , if you have any more questions feel free to pm me and I will do my best to help, its a real shame that ma have stopped supporting this heli
