Default Gaui x5 formula, governor or no?

Hi guys,

My Gaui X5 setup is a scorpion 910kv, Castle Talon 90a, 4000mah 35C batts. According to the governor HS is 2300 with a 16T pinion.

My heli feels a bit sluggish power wise, during FF and pitch pumps. I also get a tail kick out when slamming full throttle (collective). So I'm wondering if I should just do away with the gov, or wont that make much of a performance difference?

What setup guide should I follow if I go no gov?
Will it cause more amp draw?
Potential damage that could be caused?

Or is it time to upgrade?
Everything is about a year old with about 35 flights on the batts.

Thanx.

def gov..bump up your tc a little in the software if the castle will let you. remember with castle all headspeed changes are done on the computer not the transmitter..you can tune out the tail kick, maybe it has too much pitch but without more info, its tough..like what fbl are you using? anything will fly like crap without tuning.
there is an x5 forum here..

I'm using a mini vbar. Not sure what you mean by TC?

Thanx, I'll check if I can get a clearer answer in the x5 setup forum.

tc= throttle curve
castle needs 30-70-100 tc flat.. you cant move them, only in the software
and you need the castle link to plug into the esc and computer for changes.
