I have only been in this hobby less than one year, but now I see how the industry works. These 'new modesl' really stimulate one to empty the pockets on this stuff. I just got the 550X and don't need this 500X but these pictures make me want one.

Wow. They're finally gonna stretch the old 430mm machine.

This looks like a nice helicopter. I have an old 500 belted with 430's It's one of my go to helicopters for it's size and performance.

This new 500 should rock!

Well it's about time! I love my 500 Pro although I wish it had a lighter disc load and the floaty feel of my 450L or more so my 470L......this should be the ticket! I think this will be a great machine! Looking forward to it.......cuz that's what I need...another heli 🙄

If it's set for correct tension, it should not jump

I wonder if they will have different tail belt pulley options for guys that want to run lower head-speeds. That would be awesome.

Very excited for this model.

Also addressed in this model appears to be the molded in plastic in the frames that held the tail boom box in place. This has been removed to facilitate ease of maintenance.

I am suspecting the new lowered head should improve the head geometry for the V-Bar as well by reducing the throw available.

With the crappy dollar here in Canada, at least this will start to boost sales as these are affordable to buy,fly and crash. I'll be ordering one for sure once I can locate and purchase a 470 first.
