He flew real full size helis. Had his own helicopter flying school in Long Island back in the mid 60's.

Wow! I lived on Fire Island Ave in Babylon. I now live in Bay Shore. Small freaking world! You lived near the high school and elementary school then.

Higbie lane back in those days ended right at a park. Our house was the last house next to the park. Now Higbie makes a turn right at the park and goes back farther into residential areas that were not there back then.

The house we lived in is no longer there. The people that had it before us a woman was murdered int he house. My mom had to clean blood off the walls when we moved in. No one would buy the place but my Dad was not superstitious so they did. I have top tell you some freaky stuff happened to me while we were living there I will not go into. Anyway when we moved out the place would not sell. It eventually turned into the neighborhood haunted house and got trashed by kids. The fire dept eventually burned it down. Only the lot is still there today.

Anyway...

Have you had a chance to fly the 6HV yet Bob?

It's here. Just have not had time to finish it. After the VBAR issues, radio issues, etc. I just have not had time to basically REBUILD it all over again. No worries though. It will get done before any other heli build I start.

Hope your dad doing great.

Hi Everyone,
Great video Bob on building so far. I'm very interested in the electronics part of the build. For me it's the most fustrating part to get right.

I rotate back to the States next month, and am waiting to fly again. Everything's packed now.

In order to show me you have to fly something larger than a MCPx, I'm not sure that will even happen since your brushless one is done.

Sent from my EVO, cause I can't reach the PC
