I use the mikado conversion head on my trex600 together with an sk360.
Should also work fine on a raptor...
Now I've ordered this head http://www.grandrc.com/k_fibarless to use on another trex.
I am quite pleased with the tail gyro's I already have, so I'm going for the sk360 again..

The main issue would be the screws on the balls on the swashplate. They may be too thin and weak for flybarless as this puts quite a strain on the swash...
I would at least change the screws to som high quality stuff.

Thanks for answering me!!

Bjorn: Seems to be an nice head you have ordered. Let me hear when you have tried it. And where can i buy some stronger screws for the swash. I have trouble finding so small screws. I have been flying Mikado and i hope i can go for an Mikado head, seens i was very happy with the Mikado.

Heli-RND: Let me know when you have some tested it. It seems to me that you are in to this flybarless thing.

Thanks!!

jakosen,

I tested the first flybarless last year on my Trex 600E with three GY 401, 120 degree apart with one for each cyclic servo, I has been so obssessed since then, now I am flying my Trex 450 and my freinds are flying on 500, 600 and 700, we spent weeks in the field testing all the parameters, and also learn more about flybar. So I know a little bit on this.

I even set up an online store because of this and sold to Sweden and Poland. Flybarless not only changed my flying style but also my life a bit....I am planning to install one onto my daughter's Trex 450 ...

The test have been done, its fly well. Thanks to thouse who made the sk360.

used about 2 houers to fit the logo head to the raptor. To get the right space for det swash follower i had to drill a new hole in the main shaft. This was no problem and after this it fit well.

I havent tested maximum pitch, but i dont think a will get more pitch with this head. But i will check this out later on. so far so good.
