Step E on my microbeast is not working correctly. I move my rudder stick to one side, wait for the light to blink which indicates that side (lift or right) is done. However, when I move the rudder to the opposite side and wait for the light to blink, it doesn't.

Im converting my old 450 pro to FBL with an Align's DFC head + BeastX. Do I need to level the swash before installing the dfc head or doing it later with the BeastX?....please guide..thanks

You level the swash during the beastx setup.

Wow! The step G vid was pretty amazing with the Lazer. One thing I love about the BeastX, when you make an adjustment you can see it working in very fine, precise increments. Without a lazer, I use a perfectly square stiff paper card, eyeballing parallel with the main shaft to the bottom of an Align Pitch gauge to get pitch nailed down, same for levelling the swash.

One of the first things I really liked about BeastX when I setup my Trex 550 was the max pitch +/- setup. You just move the stick until the pitch gauge reads the desired degrees with no bumping points around.

I also like the servo sub trim. That's such a time saver if you already have servos mounted and they are off a bit after switching FBL brands. And so simple by moving the stick, BeastX remembers where you put it without bumping points around.

Also I like the way the rudder limit works automatically remembering where you set it within a second. Again no bumping up end points and checking over and over until you get it nailed. Love it!
