Default spindle replace

Hey freaks can some one please tell me the order the shims and step washer go on. Is this correct oring in hub, 3 shims, stepwasher towards bearing? or does anyone have a photo of the order that would be nice. thanks nasty crash last nite.

That's correct. The manual has a parts explosion among the last pages that will help. Happy hovering!

From the hub: O ring, 3 shims, step washer, bearing, blade grip, brass spacer, bearing, bearing, step washer, flat washer, screw.

Just a reminder that there is an error in the manual, the blade grips, part number 27 on the drawing are shown back to front, it needs to be flipped over so that the pin of the grip faces counter clockwise

The printed parts explosion in the manual is detailed enough to figure it out. The online manual downloads too fuzzy to be much use. Basically the raised portion of a step washer goes towards the ball bearings to position the bearing correctly and keep it from dragging.Usually between the step washer and the "o" ring shims are added, about three each side. Theyr're so thin I've got five shims each side with a nice snug fit and no rersistance in the pivot of the blade holders.Your heli may not need five shims.Working on a Blade-400 taught me a lot, you can go to the Blade 400 Bible to research shortcuts and other techniques that make it much easier to repair.
