I personally would never touch anything from the company that designed the HDX300.

Nope back in May I was told 450 to 455 mm blades and thats what I quoted. I now have heard Jason is redesigning the entire thing (again just a roumor) so who knows what ti will turn out to be now...........

If he wasn't happy with the first design it's a good thing.

I can wait.

I bet they are looking at the Hurricane 550 sales and thinking about going to a bigger 475-500mm rotor disk.

My Hurricane is just as smooth and stable as my Trex600E but it cost a hell of a lot less to get up in the air even with the costs of bigger motors and 3200mah packs.

Allright, let's settle all this speculation once and for all. Here's the real deal.

Yes, the T500 will be out just in time for Christmas.......2011!!!!

The frame is made of green licorice and instead of a useless aluminum case it will be packaged with 2 little pixies that will dance naked around the fire praying to the heli gods that you don't wad up the new bird you've so anxiously been waiting for.

Lipos? No more flying bombs for Align, no siree bob. Triple A's are where it's at. You'll need 67 for the T500.

Blade length has been set at 487.323mm, and will be made with Align's new C/R (carbon/rubber) copolymer compound. Go ahead and fly it right in front of your face-at worst you're looking at an Excedrin kind of day.

Belt or TT? Align couldn't decide, so you're getting a belt driven torque tube. Cunning Asians have an answer for everything, don't they?

A full line of replacement parts will be available at launch, and due to constant production changes each part over $5 will include a list of part numbers and a dart to help you choose which one you need.
