Hi guys/gals.

I had a brief maiden yesterday AM of my 3D+ now on 3GX and I was VERY impressed, though I didn't have much space where I was flying, so not sure about FFF, but all other flight aspects were wonderful! Tail was locked in, I tamed flip/roll rates and tic tocs felt great! Stops were crisp.

It may be my imagination, but it really felt like I was getting more power than before, even though I was a bit rich on my tune. I was impressed with the mid range power. I wonder if it was just going FBL, the incorporated GOV feature of the 3GX or maybe just my pitch range was different.

I can't wait to go fly it again!

I got out today and put some harder flights on my 3D+ 3GX and the heli is really solid. I am indeed experiencing better and more consistent power AND less bogging. I let a friend fly it and he agreed that the heli is runing VERY well. One thing I appreciate about the 3GX is that it fees very natural to me whereas th BeastX always felt a little simulated.

Overall, this has been my most worthwhile conversion to FBL.

Have you updated your BeastX to v3.0? The early reports ive been reading are saying that v3.0 is much more responsive (flybar like).. Ive seen some comments claiming they think the BeastX is as good if not better than a Vbar.. Regardless, of the bold Vbar statements, obviously the v3.0 has addressed that 'simulated' feel..

Going out to test v3 on both 3d plus and 6hv soon. We`ll see what happens. I`ve never flown 3d plus with a flybar but recently tried atom 500. Didn`t like it at all. It is now shelved until i get the head upgrade and another microbeast.

So once you go FBL there is no way back.

I had 3 flights on my 3D+ 3GX and 3 on my 6HV BXV3. They are much closer in performance now! I used t not feel hat comfortable w/ the Bx on V2, but that is no longer the case. The tail is good, not as good as the 3GX, bu I still have some tweeking to do on he Bx, may g to high on precomp. The big difference for me is the cyclic response on BxV3 and the hard stops with pitch boost. The 6HV is now taking the beating she deserves! The 3D+ was also getting spanked today nd kept coming back for more.
