700x Stock Motor Power
How's the power from the stock motor? Blade doesn't advertise wattage, so I'm wondering how it compares to other 700 class motors out there.

Lots of power! More than enough for my flying style. There are some videos out there of Youngrok Son (Team Horizon Korea) flying the stock motor. See what you think...

Motor ratings in amperage are complete crap shoots anyways. What does 100A really mean for a motor? I suppose that you can expect it to push 100A without melting. But there are way too many factors to make a blanket statement like that. Airflow and ambient temperature make a huge difference. We'd be better off using ratings like a max operating temperature, and how many amps continuous will cause that temperature under standard atmospheric conditions. And that says nothing about peak current which is usually more interesting for 3d Heli usage anyways.

I think the ESC and lipos make more of a difference anyway to the average flyer. I've got a heli jive 120 on my 700x and it's noticeably better than the castle I had on it before.

I wouldn't pay much attention to the posted specs. I have found that many motors put out much better numbers than advertised. I like the 700x motor. I run one in my e7 and it is a power house with plenty of torque.

Power!
The 700x makes great power with the stock motor... this heli is so light & with perfect cyclic geometry is a feather compare to Gob 700 and my Trex 700 E.
I was wondering to upgrade my motor! its not a necessity just wanted to try some different! but really it dosent need it...
