Which FBL blades (325 ish) to get???
Looking for recommendations on FBL blades for my Mini P on Beast X. What are you happy with and what did you not like?
Thanks

Hi
I fly with Edge 325 fbl and they are great. Flew MUCH better than the SAB Std blades..... Fbl blades are needed, in my opinion. I have a set of Radix fbl 325's but have not had time to try them out. Regards Paul |

Thanks Paul. I thought I remember reading a post from somebody that really liked the Edge blades compared to the CYs. I think he mentioned the CYs were much heavier.
I wish more people would chime in.

I found a thread you might be interested in a couple months back: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=175562
He evaluates FB blades, but the information applies to FBL in most cases. I personally like SAB, they seem to bite a bit more. From what I can remember when I did the comparison: SAB - 16 grams Radix - 21 grams (better CoG, slightly more outwards)

I'm finding the thunder power blades pretty awesome right now.

I really like the Edge FBL blades a lot. I run them on most of my helis most of the time. I also like the new Radix FBL blades. A bit more bite than the Edge blades I think and also a bit higher amperage consumption.

I have been chasing a random cyclic jerk for a while on my Mini P / BeastX. Basically collective pumps would sometimes result in a cyclic jerk in random directions by a couple of degrees. I changed out my super sloppy swash this weekend and still had the issue. It was suggested to swap out the blades to FBL ones. I did not have any FBL specific ones so I went thorough my stash and hung all my blades looking for the ones that hung the straightest.
SAB Align 325D SWE (Beam E4) pink / white Hyperion Thunder Power Radix Of all the above, the Radix hung the straightest. I put those on and the heli felt real good. I got several packs in and did not have a single cyclic jerk. I am optimistic that the issue may have been sorted out. I will be ordering some Radix FBL blades tomorrow and see how they do.
