I saw it or read it somewhere, you put the ball on the side that gives you the most vertical linkage...

I think i remember seeing this in one of bobs vids but just to be sure,

I have a quark in my 450 pro and i want to slow down the piro rate. Do i do this with the travel adjust in the tx, or is there a way to do it from the quark programing?

With my current hitec 65MGs, the balls are at the 3rd hole from the center. From the looks of it, I can make the linkage straight if I put it at the 2nd hole from the center. Do I loose something if I do that?....

Hi all!

Will the build videos on the first page of this thread be good for the Trex 450 Pro v2 3GX kit?

I would prefer to build according to Finless' guides if possible. Has anybody built this kit based on these videos?

Thanks all

I did. The video helped a lot especially it was my first time when I followed it. Lot of detail he went through was not in the manual. Some stuff is different in the 3GX kit, but it's close enough. I'm sure you can see the different and adjust.

Finless, I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do in this hobby. Without your hk450/trex 450 build/instructional videos, I would be lost. My hk450 is ready to fly thanks to your hard work. Thank you kind sir for all of your dedication!!!!!!!!

Default gp 790

So I have a new GP 790 gyro and I'm curious as to the frame rates. I'll be using a digital Walkera wk-2602s. I can't find anything about this servo much less a frame rate. Any ideas out there? -Guy

I would say, dont use the walkera servo...

I own alot of walkera stuff, and though i love their fbl/rx's (2702v), the servos have all failed me in some way. I have 3 helis using the 2702v, 450 pro, 500 esp, and a 600 cf. The tail servo they sell with their V450 burned out after 20 flights. The cyclic servos are fragile, and also tend to burn out. One died on me in the air, causing two other walkera servos to strip the gears.

Get a futaba 9257, or savox 1357. I have a savox on the tail of my 500 for about 50+ flights now. Dont skimp on the tail servo, and dont trust walkera servos.

Default servo

I appreciate your suggestion, and your experience. Thats not a fix for now though. I'm in Afghanistan, and allthough I've ordered more servo's, I want to fly now. I get some stuff in decent time but I'm guessing that since my order has to go home first before coming here that it will take at least 2 weeks. So, what I got..... gotsta work for now.

Most servo will work with 1520/250hz especially cheap servo.

Do you have to flip the grips on the 450 sport as well?

After reading the about the mod on the pro 450 from Finless And everything being 90 degrees I saw that it did put the tail blades at an angle to go with torgue. after checking my 450 V2 models they were doing the same thing. So I reeversed them on them as well as my pro. Even though I do not fly in rate mode I was having trouble with enough pitch on the rudder to counter the torque and my tail was kicking out even eith the gyro. After the mod it helped. SO take a look at your sport 450 with all at 90 degrees on the links and if your blades are pointing away from the tail , I would suggest reversing them.

Default V2 3GX

Great thread! I actually am nearing completion on my 450 Pro V2 3GX and am wondering if the flipping of my tail rotor grips would still benifit the 3GX? I watched these videos way before I actually got the 450 and had wondering then if I would need to flip the grips.

Default Flipping the Grips

I would no matter what gyro system . I already flipped them and am in the process of upgrading to FBL. However, Build without flipping the grips. And see with everything 90 degrees see which way the tail blades are pointing, Not sure if Align corrected the problem Finless pointed out. I would suggest watching all of Bob's videos while building, they are a great help. Good Luck

Default Trex 450 sport v2 tail grips bearings.

What is the most recent problem on the 450's, the blade flipping thing or the tail grips bearing problems, I was just dealing with the bearing problem when I saw this thread and I was wondering if you guys are aware of that. Here's a link to that thread: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=360680

Default Video for 450 pro flybarless

Hi, just wondering if anyone has done, or is likely to do a video build on the flybarless version of the 450 Pro?
Thanks, Paul.
