Default Gpro: Stuttering tail ?

Hello, hello.

Yepp, I swaped out my Skookum for gpro also on my 450L (since I have it on the 550L)

However, strange thing on the 450L, if I move the tail slow - nose right, it wants to stutter, not a smooth move. Nose left is smooth. Setup is correct, small heli choosen aswell.

Now, I don't want theese mechanic advises, since it works perfect with the Skookum. So it is a gpro issue.

Any advises? May it be this 'rudder stop' that mess it up? would be interesting if anyone else has or are expering thesame thing.

Yes, you have to increase the 'rudder stop right'-function. But unfortunately the problem decreases a bit but doesn't disappear completely in most cases.
It seems to be a general problem of the gpro.

But I'm sure that this will be solved after an update.

Thanks for reporting! Ive just ordered the bluetooth module to be able to change the settings outside on the flying field, hope to get rid of this prob, too.

Guys, I had the same issue. there is a simple solution to it.
You have to keep the tail pitch to approx 2 to 3 degrees & she'll be fine.

The reason why you didnt get this issue on Skookum is... even if you leave the tail pitch to 0 degree the gyro will take care of itself, same goes for Vbar, but Align GPRO you need to have 2-3degree pitch on tail & she'll be fine.

Arvidsson, i'm not clear what do you mean by 20-5, are you refering to Travel on Tx?

Ok.. But, my 550L did not had that issue, also gpro and 0 degrees. With 20-5 i ment rudder right/left stop. That solved it aswell. Winter in Sweden, so testing will continue later.. Simulator for a while now.

Hi, I had the exact same symptoms on my 450L (gpro) as arvidson described, tried lowering the "rudder tight stop" parameter to 5 as suggested by Landorer , but it only made a little improvement. after reading the post from Herman T i adjusted the pitch on my tail blades until the helicopter has no tail drift when heading hold was turned off and now the tail is smooth as silk.

Now i am able to turn the "rudder right stop" parameter back up to 20 again.

Thanks for your suggestions.
