Default O.S. backplate always wet from fuel after flying.

Since day one with my 105hzr, after every flight the backplate is always pretty wet with fuel and the fuel gets all over the inside of the canopy. bottom inside of the frames, and on the front landing strut on my goblin 650 nitro. When I say wet, I mean if I were to use a teaspoon of fuel and dump it on the backplate and let it run wherever. I've ran it this way for 9 gallons of fuel and it flys awesome with tons of power. Is this normal or is there something I need to be looking for. I changed all the fuel lines and so forth and cant see a problem. When its in idle, I see no fuel running anywhere. I cant figure out where this fuel is coming from, any suggestions what to look for would be greatly appreciated.

I think your just dealing with the excess nitro from the exhaust..especially flying 3D that exhaust residue is going everywhere, especially if your running rich.. If you had a leak somewhere your engine wouldn't run so well like your stating..

That's what I was thinking, that many gallons, starts right up and fly's awesome. I'm half tempted to convert my 700 black thunder into a 700 black nitro. I never would of thought that nitro could be so fun. I did lean it out the other day on the high needle a few clicks (dominators advice) and I had less wetness underneath the backplate and the front skids. I guess we'll just keep on flying.
