Question Akarus Piccolo

Ok! I know i'm going back a bit, but a few years ago I purchased a Piccolo Eco/Fun FP Heli only to find it had a bit of damage to the U/C, this was promptly replaced with a SuperSkids kit and Boom, (looks the part now). The problem is, is that I've manged to blow 3 piccoboards within 2 two (in fact one was a short circuit on the main motor) so after two boards I decided to go B?L and seperates, seemed Ok, except that I was on Ni-Mh's at the time so this didn't work either, then I got hold of a 3rd Piccoboard thanks to Galaxy Models (UK) who had one stached away and hence a deal was found in which I purchased said board, (stored it for 18mths until last week) this went on said heli, and the receiver was bust, no worries swap it for a new Spektrum instead hey presto working, then 'puff' short circuit as mentioned earlier so managed to bypase fault and away we go again, only the next thing the tail motor gave up (yep I not havin much look am I )So I've managed to fix the motor, but seem to have a power loss to the tail motor, and the dam thing wants to spin left all the time.

Now after hunting round on the net I found many recomendations to to replacing he tail motor with a Piccolo Pro version, only the snag there is, this model was discontinued a few years back too.

So I'm appealing to ANYONE that can make sugestion to a replacement motor simular to the Pro Brushed Carbon one or something that will work on seperates, the Brushed Motor on the main head is the G-310 tuning motor, but I have a B/L waiting in the wings if it comes to it.

I'd love to get this old thing up and running for once and get some use out of it instead of it sitting and collecting dust so can some PLEASE help!!!!

Neil
