Default Weird problem

I have just set the tail using the wizard on an SK540 clear and had to reverse the tail in my tx and then reverse the tail again in the 540.
If I tried to set the tail without reversing the servo(in both tx and 540)the gyro could only be set the wrong way I am using latest software and firmware so that's not an issue,used a red 540 before and never had an issue like this.I think it's just me doing something dopey but couldn't get it sorted any other way
All seems ok now,gonna maiden the heli tomorrow if weather improves.

Quite a few guys including myself have had tail reverse warning issues even with the new version. Do not reverse it in your TX. Just set it up manually in the tail section instead and don't use the wiz. It still gives false reverse tail warnings from time to time with some.

Manually yaw both ways before lift off. Make sure sk corrections counter the yaw. I had a spinner when I thought I had to reverse tail, when I re did it I was wrong. Dan

I contacted Skookum directly to ask their advice and this is what they advised;

1) In the setup software, does right rudder show green in the "inputs from receiver"?

2) In setup mode (USB connected), does "gyro rates" for rudder show positive while swinging the nose right?

3) Do the tail blades move in the right direction with right stick?

If so, then yes it is ok

Everything is as should be so I am hoping to maiden the unit on my G570 this weekend,if the treacherous weather improves that is?

I must say again(as I had a previous problem with another unit that SK were fantastic about ) though that I am very impressed with SK customer services.I had an issue with an Align Gpro earlier this year and Align didn`t want to know
