I can fly at least 5min (3D) at 2800rpm on RJX vector 360's, and that's already plenty of power, way more than my 3S setup on 325 blades.

I also fly it sometimes on 6S at 3200rpm (haven't gone any higher yet) for when I want it to be a rocket
Shorter flight times though obviously.

I also have not been able to blow the tail out, but I'm using radix tail blades and the lynx pitch lever (well I did manage to blow it out but it was banging the collective in a flip on 3S lipos at 2000rpm, and it just blew out slowly and predictably).
Have you flown the Sab 350s? I'm interested how they compare to the Vectors.

SAB 350's are a lot quicker on cyclic than the Vectors, but the Vectors ( and the Align 360's) give you a bigger disc size for more float.

I like the floatiness and the "pop"of the 360's (compared to 325's as I haven't had any other 350-360's), and they are plenty fast on the cyclic for me (I can still make them quite alot faster on the FBL).
They are pretty heavy though at 36g so probably not as fast on the cyclic as most. I've heard the regular RJX are lighter.

Set up my Mini Protos for lower head speeds. Using the RJX 360mm Vector blades, 6s motor, 4x1800mah Glacier pack, and Talon-35 governed at 2200 rpm.

Tooled around smoothly and very quietly at 2200rpm. Relaxing.

I have finally joined the Mini P club . Setup:
Stretch SAB red/white 350's
3s 2250 65c
Stock scorpion motor
YEP 40a
Red KST servos all around
Mini V-bar - governed headspeeds - 2500, 2800, 3100

I have only done some governor tuning at mid and high but only actually flown at 2500 rpm 7:30 - 8 min safe LVC at 8:30. I can't wait to fly it more, it is extremely quiet

Is anybody still flying low headspeeds? What rpm, what is your flight time at low speeds?

I can fly pretty well in the 2000-2200 range depending on blades. Some get pretty sluggish (radix) and some get poor lift/collective (SAB). Others (Align, RJX) are fine down to 2000.

I don't usually do entire flights at low HS, so no comment on times.

I flew on 3S for some time (with a 6S motor), so was getting around 2000-2200rpm at 100% throttle.
Could fly for around 10min to 20%.
It was running RJX Vector 360's though.

Kinda got bored of it though, as it has too little power to try new things out, and can't do much beyond flips (heck you can even do piroflips if you don't mind losing alititude) and FF.
It does go suprisingly fast in FF though, compared to the maximum vertical acceleration which is really slow.

I flew my 6s 2520-1360 setup at 100% 15t on 4s and I thought that was a great combo. It's been a while but I believe I was getting 7 to 8 minutes and it had the power to do my do what I wanted it to do. I had align 360's on it and cut as much weight as possible by shortening wires, removing horizontal fin, rotor button, and any little thing I could do to save a little weight.

I fly my stretched 3S with SAB blades at 50% in gov store with 16T pignon. This is not the most optimized setup for low HS but this is perfect for working on all 8s (following ArchmageAU method), and also for slow half piroflips. An it gives me around 7 min down to 3,8 V per cell. People at the field are often surprised how smooth and silent if flies this way. Now for working on funnels this is a little too low HS. Tail is not always holding perfect especially with the wind. At 60% everything is OK except autonomy. But trying a 3.3 Ah from a friend instead of my 2.2, I got 6 mins at 65% with no visible impact.
