Titan X50E purchase advice
OK, I've been wandering for the past month all around helifreak searching for the next perfect heli and never looked at TT because I didn't like the MT (v1), I was happy when I crash it years ago.
Anyway my next dream heli should qualify for this: accept MX700 510Kv motor, ICE120HV, 12s 4000mah lipo because this is what I already have and want to use and the X50E seems a perfect match. I want a powerful setup (but nor crazy powerful). Because shipping for me is expensive what do you suggest to buy together with the kit: - another pinion 13, 14 ? - another spindle (for the shims) - any useful spares/upgrades. Most likely I'll use a Vbar full size (now sitting on HK600). The servos are still a question mark. I can go cheap with some 25 USD hobbyking servo (like blue arrow - nice on paper) or spend some cash and take the new RJX (best thing after sliced bread according to reports) I read almost all the topics for X50E (not so hard). Thank you, Stefan PS I almost bought the ebay 290USD Fusion 50 but to many negative reports, to many uncertainties about the brand. Beside this the X50E accept without mods the MX700 motor and the Fusion don't. |

You won't regret buying this heli going by the build alone. Always good to buy feathering, main spindles etc. Quick uk can supply the heli to you as can fastlads, midlands but for customer service you won't go wrong with Budd at quick uk, one of the nicest, most helpful guys you will ever deal with. Parts are not on the website but he can get them.
Cheers P.s go with the stock 15t pinion |

Just about to maiden mine.
Specs - 4225-550 (ballistic power but also light) 14T pinion. Max h/s target 2300 Ds615 cyclic, Ds655 tail Ikon Edge main Castle 80HV, ikon gov WR BEC A pretty budget build except the motor. I have the ds615s on my E5 and the machine flys to my standards. So picked up another set. It seems lighter than my Fusion and E5. I need to weigh it, |

Thank you, I plan to buy it from UK. Quick UK doesn't have TT heli listed.
Because I am far away a good service for me means cheap shipping. Is this heli loud ? |

It looks like I won some sort of auction at Midland Heli. I got the X50E kit for 240 GBP.
It is a good price but: - the shipping to Romania is 40 GBP - it is without the blades still a good price. Now I have to scratch my head for servo and FBL unit. Thank you, Stefan |

I have the X50E kit. Very nice. This will be my setup:
- motor Align MX700 kv 510 - ESC Castle Creation 120A HV with hobbywing rpm sensor - V-bar full size with two satellites (from a HK600; it will be downgraded to Align 3g) - 4 servo RJX FS-0521HV from hobby king - 12s - 2x 4000mah zippy-c - all electronic direct from a 2s lipo. everything is already in house except for the hobbywing rpm sensor and the servos. Nice bonus - the blades are in the kit (midland told me by e-mail that the kit is without the blades) |
