Default Ark 450 XS.Anygood?

Can anyone give a unbiased view on a ARK450 XS.
I can not see one at any LHS so i will have to buy mail order. Is the quality of the parts ok.I have heard it is not up to Align quality.I am not concerned on what is the best flyer i am very much a novice BUT i woulod like a kit that is tinker and mod free from the box.I do not want to get something where only one make of servo fits.Or the linkages to swash are all over the place, non vertical in any plain etc.
In the uk i think the XS is apx £160 for kit.A mini titan or trex(of some spec)would proberly be the best choice but at least the Ark is different BUT i do not want to many probs.Any advice or opinoins would be welcome Guys.

i've got an mx450xs (helimax, same bird i think) and it def was not problem free. the tail leaves something to be desired, and if the same people who assemble the mx450 do so to the ark, then they use super-strength threadlock where they should only use medium. lots of stripped screw heads, where the dremel comes in handy. once sorted, it flies very well, at least to me. i've only got an axe cp to compair, but when in a steady hover i can take my thumbs off the sticks for a few seconds. one tip if you do get it, and for the price it's a good deal, use a soldering iron to heat up the screws before removal. just hold the iron to the screw head for couple minutes and that will break the bond. if i could do it again, i'd probly get the trex, just because i've never heard a bad thing about them. but my lhs also stocks a shiteload of helimax parts so that was a factor.

oh, also, remove the tail slider rod and buff/polish all of that black oxide coating off. buff to a high shine and the tail problems all but go away. after doing that, the slider slides like a hot knife through butter.
