seanh,

At IRCHA PR had the latest and greatest out there, it was the REG w/GLOW igniter and a REMOTE switch that came two different ways. Normal Switch style and a pull switch style.

Shoot the guys over at PR an email.

I have this TRIO and was the first to have and fly one at IRCHA, It works great, dialed in my 6.5v to
the servos ans let it eat... installation was easy. I like the failsafe on the switch...
Very nice regulator Matt..

I have a Flex Reg Pro installed recently and I am loving it, minimal voltage drop on load on a regulated 8.25V.

Can anyone tell me in their experience how hot can it get on a flight? Immediately after flight mine was HOT.

don't worry, that's common with this type of regulator.

If it's a concern, put a small fan on top of the fins.

Thanks seanh, I have expected the heat disipation but of all regulators I have used this is by far the hottest yet (scorching) I just wanted to be sure that this is normal so that I can have a peace of mind thrashing my 700 =)

UPDATE: Mr Barret had informed me that the Flex Reg Pro can handle up to 150'C. All is well.
