After MODE 1 programming it has learned your TX endpoint values, so if you have programmed with a linear TC and endpoints at 100% both sides, then it will HOLD or CUT the throttle at the lowest value of the throttle endpoint. (0%). It does not have auto bailout so there are no "deadband" at the lower throttle setting and it will rotate the motor from about 12% throttle. It will only arm at 0% though.

Ok, as a brand new Koby 90 i plugged it in for the very first time and programed Mode 4 for heli.. that all i did. so your saying that setting a percentage value for Throttle Hold is useless...I cant use it as auto bailout, so if i accidentally hit Throttle Hold in mid flight im out of luck..? also id did not program mode 1 i thought thats how it come from factory.. Thanks Chris

From the factory, the Koby is expecting to be taught end-points - this is your first collective throw from 0 to 100% aka programming mode 1. It's important that this be done deliberately and listening to the feedback beeps for confirmation.

The Kontronik remembers that (if done right) and uses that as a calibration for throttle input. If at a later stage you want to redo it - this is called programming mode 1, which resets it back to the factory expectation of throw calibration on first programming startup.

I'd suggest that if you are unsure if it was done right, just do it again.

So 0 throttle on your hold switch is going to keep the motor off.

The Koby doesn't have auto bailout.

Ok i did not do or program mode 1 but I did mode 4.. i tested it on the bench after and it holds Does this mean it's fine or should I still go back and program mode 1 any way..
