Question Where are these cooling fans??

Well, I just got a trade and all is good EXCEPT the unavailable cooling fan. (GRRR!) It has 2 fins barely hanging on. Can I glue them? Maybe epoxy? It looks like a pc cooling fan w/ a plastic hub in the middle to me. Maybe snap off the opposing fins and just have less w/ a balanced fan? Or, anyone at all have one? I'll paypal you NOW!!!

Default temp fix

a temp fix that will work, start with the space, count two fins break off 3rd, repeat again and that will balance out the fan and at the rpm it will be running shouldn't affect cooling hardly at all if any, remember to carefully file any leftover fin smooth with the hub..thats what i would do till part is available

Default the permanent fix:

Well, I managed to fabricate another cooling fan! I went to the computer store by me and in the back there's a build your own section. In that section there's a aisle for pc fans only. I managed to find a 60mm one that fit perfectly. I had to gut it obviously, but the fins are longer and larger. It will operate the same or better as these fins aren't as flimsy. Gota love this hobby.

So, yea

Talking More of the permanent fix:

I just wanted to post the box of the fan I used just in case someone is in my situation. I paid $2.59 for it at the local pc store. I then basically gutted the motor and everything except the fan. I used my dremmel to cut a slit across the skin of the old fan (like cutting off a cast) to get that plastic hub piece out. It came right out like cracking an egg open. I had to sand down about 1-2mm of plastic to make the hub fit in the new fan, but it fits well. It has 7 blades and the original had 9. The diameter is the same, but the blades are larger. No interference what-so-ever.

(Pardon the dirty hands...I'm an auto mechanic and I just got home from work at that time.)
