I have a BX that was in a crash. It works well 98% of the time but then the heli does a partial piro by itsself. Do you think BX is bad or should I look at the rest of the setup.

98% of the time it is going to be your setup--look at the tail servo, and especially the tail end to see if there is any binding.

I take the main blades off, anchor the skids down, and spool up with the tail control rod popped off the servo ball link. Then by hand move the control rod through its entire range to see if it gets sticky anywhere.

Like I said, your really want the skids anchored down for this test so the hell can't rotate!

Also oil the tail shaft and blade grip bearings daily. They will thank you for it.
