The following worked for me.

To be able to get into the configuration modes of the gyro go into the Gyro settings and activate the two first lines, set both to Type GY, one to NOR 50% and the other to AVCS 50%. The percentages are not critical at this time as long as they aren't to close to 0% for any of the two. Now configure your switch preference so that one switch position selects the first line and another switch position selects the second.

Flipping the switch between the selected positions should now show in the first column of the Gyro settings with toggling the two activated lines alternately between ON in green and OFF in red depending on the switch position. Looking in the Servo Monitor display should show the GYR channel changing when you flip the switch (with the column height depending on what percentages you selected).

Note: If you configure your gyro switch to only select between different AVCS gains you may not be able to get the gyro into configuration mode. The gyro channel needs to change between Rate and AVCS output levels for this to work.

Hope this helps.

You need to toggle the switch once more until the LED is steady on. Only then the changes are stored.
