Hi

I have had nothing but problems with my UflyS. I originally purchased a Ufly from rccarmax.com and had no problems with it but this second Ufly, a UflyS arrived defective. I flew it for a day and the following day while I was flying it the tail went out of control. I emailed rccarmax and they "offered" to exchange it giving me the only option to ship the entire thing back. They also said it would be sent back priority mail which it was not. I tried speaking with someone there and I believe I got the owner who was an absolute jerk to me like it was my fault. I only tried speaking with someone to find a solution without going through the hassle. I did receive my UflyS back, I doubt the receiver was replaced, in fact the entire heli was to be replaced and it was not as I know during the problems I had the tail jerked so hard it broke one of the main gears teeth. Anyways I am writing mostly because the receiver is doing the same thing! This what leads me to believe that rccarmax did nothing but perhaps adjust something and when I call to ask I get hung up on! I have NEVER in 37 years of my life ever complained to people not to purchase a product from somewhere but DO NOT buy from this jerk, if you do put it on a American Express card so you have buyer's protection.
Does anyone have a solution to keep the tail from spinning? It will go in one direction, if I stop the heli from spinning I can get it to spin in the opposite direction.
Any help with this is MUCH appreciated. I would highly recommend rchobbyhelicopter, WOW, or helidirect for Walkera parts, STAY AWAY FROM RCCARMAX!!!!!

Make sure your tail pitch is set as straight as possible.Remove tail servo arm from servo ,Turn tx on and plug batt. in.Do this with balance mode turned off.Tail servo will center itself,at this point make any adjustments to tail pitch linkage to get the tail blades as straight as possible, and to make sure ,when you reconnect servo arm to servo it is in a 90 degree angle.Your tail blades should now be straight when the servo arm is on.Make sure your rudder trim is at center position on tx before making adjustments.Im assuming the rx is in the proper position ,lying flat, not standing up like on non S ufly.Make sure you turn back on balance mode on rx ,and have your rudder gyro gain at least at 50%..You can also try flying it with balance mode off. That will disable the 3-axis ,but still have headlocking for tail.Check that the other pot on rx that says adj-wk is on wk.The heli is not flyable if its on adj.Good luck and thanks for warning me about rccarmax.

I got my standard Ufly up and running with the rx2433 upgrade kit from Wow. Couple of days, about 10 packs through it. Verdict: I took it off and went back to the standard receiver & esc. I adjusted everything from one end to the other; I saw no measurable increase in any flying quality - in fact it was harder to hover and fly with the rx2433. Also, that little digital servo they give you, well, it lasted just 4 flights and quit working, and a std Ufly servo won't work (buzzes and overheats). The Ufly is just more stable with the original setup. I'm just a beginner, not a hotdog... My opinion: Wow kit is not worth the effort.
