Smile Been Flying!

Having great weather here, winds about 2 - 5mph and warm temps, up in the 60's. Found out that what the vertical tail fin does today, keeps it from spinning.

The 450c got a bit out of my control and had to bring it down with TH and took out the vertical tail fin, it does spin a bit without it. One part I forgot to order but the LHS carries them so tomorrow I know where I'll be.

Sim training and flying the 130x is paying off, getting much more control, yes I have tamed them both down and it is all starting to click, learn, listen, read, then fly!

Hope all of you KDS Helifreaks have had the chance to get out and take them up

I feel happy for you.

Over here the winter just doesn't seem to end at all this year. Temperatures have been around or just below freezing for almost 2 weeks now.
We've had some snowfall and now it's all white again. If it weren't the easter holiday coming up next weekend, I'd say its about time for christmas.

I did fly very little - had my 300X up for 3 batteries yesterday, but almost froze my fingers off.

FamilyMan67, I need to send some of our warm weather your way, hope you get some flying time in soon.
Got the vertical tail stabilizer on today and got the metal gear upgrade done on the 130x, was a bit late when I got done so just took the 450 up for a one battery hover and a few side to sides, flew two batteries on the 130, of course this was with limited room in the backyard.
Going out tomorrow to take them both out for at least 3 batteries each, have another one of those days off!
Enjoy all!!!!!

Well I could send him some of our Houston weather from this weekend which would have included summer tempratures and a severe thunderstorm.
