Hercules is pretty much self explanatory, the hardware used is labeled on the canopy.

The BlackBird is an all out custom and refit.

Both are 12S, powered by Scorpion 5020-450 motors

And to answer the question ...Yes they do 3D very well

Had them up that Friday evening, but the fixed wings kept coming into the heli airspace..not cool

One of my supervisors at work has one of these on order. Not sure if its this exact same one though. It's coming from down under. Should be here in November sometime. Cost him about $30,000. He knows I'm into RC helis and said he may need a hand building it this winter as he doesn't know much about helis at all. I'm excited for him, should be a pretty cool experience.

And I don't know how much your prior knowledge can help him with the build.... it's a lot more full on than a R/C setup. You will have to learn it all during the build.
