I had a back ordered rx battery for my R50 and it finally came today. So when I went to charge up the battery with my brand new turnigy charger I find that the charger is defective and now I have to send it back to HK and wait who nows how long. The LHS doesn't have anything for me and now I'm ordering from a shop that is 4 hours away hoping I get the charger I need so I can finally fly. But hey, I've only been waiting on parts to arrive for 2 months so what's another month?

Got a pesky charger you can have Lex since dear Gerd sent me an Imax B6,
any good? I'll need it back if Gerd ever needs his Imax back though.

I know they're slow but at least it'll get you back in the air.

I know thw regular Esky chargers are slow, but I have two of them and another on order. I'll be able to charge three batts at once and that makes up them being slow. You can get them for less than 10 bucks each and so far the seem to charge the batts up perfectly. Every time I check the voltages the cells are allways within.01 v of each other. If one of the chargers ever fails I will still have the other two. Just one way of looking at it.

Wooo, not good goes to show you have to be abservant about every thing, i nearly got caught a while back but about two months ago i got fed up with the deans so ive swapped all my gear to bullet connectors now, so if it goes pop i know who to blame lol

I often used to wonder if there was a "done way "
soldering deans but i'd just do what was on my charger do you go possitive- horizontal neg-verticle or was i just been backwards all that time (nothing new )

I'm sending mine back also but don't know what will happen on there end. I did contact them a few days after recieving it to tell them about it so I don't know what they will do. I thought it was the new motor so sent that back instead now I know it was my ESC so I'm still going to try and send back.

Often the shipping back to HK (which they make you pay for; regardless of fault) makes doing returns pretty worthless. It's the one downside of HobbyKing.. :-(
