Default one-way bearing issue

So I'm finally putting together the NX4 that I've had for a couple of months now. There's been a few issues with the build but nothing I couldn't take care of myself. So I get to the part where I'm putting the motor in the frame and get ready to tighten up the bolts and check that the starter shaft can spin freely. Well, this is when I run into a situation that I won't be able to remedy myself. I can spin the starter shaft but there's resistance from the one way bearing. I took everything out including the starter shaft. The starter shaft is smooth but when I hook it up with the one way bearing it will rotate but there's issues. Almost feels like there's microscopic metal shavings in the one way bearing. Has anyone else had this issue?

As an update to my original post I've found the issue with the one-way bearing. I took a close look at the inside of the bearing today and discovered what looked like metal shavings sticking out. I was able to remove the metal and come to find out it was part of the retaining clip that each of the bearings have. So now I don't think the bearing is usable now and am waiting to hear from the company that I bought the heli from as far as a replacement goes.

The bearing, which was already installed in the clutch, was taken straight out of the packaging and attached to the motor fan and then into the frame so there is now way that this happened after removing from the package. Just hoping to get a new part so I can get this bird in the air in a few weeks.

I hope no one else has this happen to them.
