Default "Squirreliness" comparison between 130x and NCPX indoors

Lets say one was comfortable with and able to fly circuits and hover a 130x in their small living room, but considered it a little too large and powerful to 3D indoors with.

Would the Nano CP be a good choice to whip around inside? Is it small enough to stick bang in a 10x15 room?

130x is very, very stable compared to the nano, but the nano is still the best choice if you want to fly in your living room. (I have both)

Yeah, I would call the 130x TERRIFYING to operate in close quarters. I say that having never flown one, because the lowly MCPX BL is powerful enough to put a serious hurt on someone, or do damage to itself in a big way making contact with hard surfaces indoors. Even my brushed v2 mcpx has drawn blood on me before.

Nano CPx is a little squirrelly, but not dangerous to fly indoors. The space you described should be adequate, depending on your skill level.

An aftermarket swash takes some of the "squirreliness" out of the nano.

Thanks guys. had the chance to fly one today at the lhs, not nearly as bad as I thought. I flew with 70% d/r with 20% expo, 85% flat throttle curve. Didn't get a chance to flip it though

Yeah I wouldn't fly a 130x inside the hours. Too big for that. Nano is more stable with bullet blades and a metal swash. Also use some expo.
