Running Hp05 as well....
Tail holds nice n tight, Also turned it up to `150% and WOW
so responsive.

Try turning up your tail and see what happens, My buddy has you same set up and has no problems
If you haven't you also may want to turn your throttle down to about 50%

Default Ah, the Cost

How much? Ah, there's THAT question... Let's see:

- about half what my FBL Trex 450 Pro cost
- a little more than the DX8 I use to fly it
- about twice what a stock RTF version costs
- if experience with other helis proves out - about half what all the repair parts for it will cost me over the course of its useful life
- less than dinner for two at most Michelin-star restaurants

I'm hoping to reduce the cost-per-entertainment-hour by spending a lot more time either flying it or working on it.

It actually flies great at this point - I've gotten rid of all the vibes, wags, shakes, blowouts, and other tuning pains. It feels remarkably similar to the 450 Pro FBL, except I can fly it in my yard.

Haha, sure. Better even, come to the 3D Masters over here! It's held here in 2012 as well. It got me started with helis last year :).

Looks good, but you may want to try the Solo Pro/Trex 100 V1 tail blades instead of the KBDD. They are a bit lighter and hold better than the KBDDs IMO. I've tried all 4 ... stock, V3 tail blade, Solo Pro, KBDD...

I was looking at those yesterday, noticed they are smaller. I will have to try them out. not all about size....... pitch n weight.... If they work better im all for it
Thanks for the heads up

Yeah, I think they are considerably lighter than the kbdds. It helps them spool up quicker which holds the tail better.

Default Finally went brushless!

Wowhobbies PNP kit with HP05, SR120 tail. Tail seems to be on its own agenda so I still need to trouble shoot that. MH frame came with both 2mm and 3mm boom holder and 3rd bearing. Doubled up the battery since I had so many, and made my CG pretty good. Not perfect, but OK. Very straight forward install with no soldering the main board which scared me the most about going BL.
