Torque Compensation on the 3g
I cant seem to find the setting anywhere, any help?
My tail seems to want to blow out to the right on any kind of pitch pump even light ones. |

Hey.
On the older 3G there was no torque compensation, the newer 3GX has this function but not the 3G. What model is this on, we'll need to know head speeds used as well, as this can effect tail performance. . |

Hey Buddy.
Head speed is in the right area for a 450. How much collective are you running? The tail control is smooth with no tight spots in it's movement and the tail blade grip bearings are nice, specifically the thrust bearings as under load the grips can lock if the bearings are gone. The direction the fuselage is swinging (nose left?) is the torque reaction on the model, can you up the head speed a little more on your throttle curve to try is this helps? . |

Re: Torque Compensation on the 3g
I rebuilt the tail just to make sure, it holds to a point but on a hard climb it will just drift nose left tail right, should I try some rudder and pitch mixing or maybe try to set it up in rate mode? I could try upping my gain as I haven't seen any wag

Re: Torque Compensation on the 3g
So, I tried playing with the gains on the tail and it made a little difference with heading lock up to 80 from 70 and tx gain higher, I will increase gain in the settings too and see how that goes
