After about 20 flights with my TDR2:

1.) Removed 8->6mm reduction bush from pinion and replaced shaft on my Xera 4530 with 8mm shaft. So i have now ideal clearance between pinion and motor body. Removed spring washer from motor ... it seems that motor is now little quieter. After pinion bush removal i found that 20t pinion is hollowed.

2.) Carbon tail boom moved after every flight little forward. So i sanded tail boom clamps and now tail boom stays in place.

3.) I got used to TDR2 profile and i like my current design much ... so i will keep it as is for now (although i ordered neon red window and tail fin decals).

4.) Replaced Radix 110 with NHP Razor 120. Tail on TDR2 works different than on TDR1. I dont know if this is caused by mechanics or by NEO. Tail stops with Radix 110 was great, tail hold position in pitch pumps and cyclic maneuvers, but lacks authority in pirouettes. With NHP Razor 120 authority in pirouettes is much better, but i need to reduce gain.

5.) In overall i like TDR2 much more than TDR1 .

And i forgot to mention one important detail ... i use standard (non programmable) BLS352 servos on cyclic with ball link in outer hole on blade holder arm. NEO have longer servo travels, so with BLS352 and disabled geometry correction i get more travel than TDR2 mechanics allow. With value 100 i have 15.5 degree on collective. 8 degrees on cyclic with value 95, cyclic ring on 90.

Where do you disable geometry correction on the Neo? My understanding and according to Mikado's feature list, this is not possible on the Neo unlike the older VBar

It is possible now only thru preconfigured setup file.
From german version of VBar NEO building tips page http://vstabi.info/de/node/2059 download this file http://www.vstabi.info/sites/default...DR_2_Setup.zip .
If someone is interested i may upload my setup.

Dont download Robert Sixt setup from VStabi forum, because there is geometry correction enabled ... i we done 3 full setups (first without geometry correction, second with Roberts setup and finally one with linked setup file) until i had right one.

Hi,

in a few days a new firmware for Neo will come out. Then you have a setup parameter for the geometry correction.

The Macrocell is only for the retracts.

Google translate makes a hash of that page! So load setup file via pc on to Neo then bind with VBC and check settings.

Now in English after I asked on the Vstabi forum, thanks to all for that as well. Now it makes sense.
