It's a HP02t motor and CF tail fin. The motor weights 2.36 grams and is 12,000kv. When I get sometime this weekend, I'll put it on and let you guys know how it works.

Will you be using this with the mild main motor?

Stock ish length boom on the Wild with a BL tail blade was working great, but testing cut short because of a bad, brand new main board!

Do you like the lighter Oversky lipos or the Hyperion 240's best?

Hyperions have more flight time, both fly good, maybe give the nod to the oversky, but cycle life isn't known yet. They are great cells on the mild too!

Just got done installing and flying my mild kit with the BL tail. I like it! I wired mine a bit different than Dylan but I think it came out pretty clean. The tail ESC is mounted and wired on the back of the board.

Looks great

I wanted to put the tail ESC on the back of the board, but also wanted flashing plugs, so I may have to try the 1.27mm plugs and short wire leads instead, and a new toolstick adapter.

How does it fly?

And, how much weight did it add?

It flys awesome! The tail holds solid. I figure is only added about half a gram when you subtract the weight of the stock tail, holder and wiring from the BL tail setup.

That looks awesome man! Where did you pick up power for the tail esc?
Which lipos are you using in that rig? If larger are they MCPX connector or Nano?

I'd love to see a vid of that thing flying.

That looks great

I'm sure it flies amazing.

I was never thinking about a bl tail on the nano, but I just went through my 2nd tail motor today on my mild kit. I've had maybe about 120 flights or so. Is this normal? If so, looks like a BL tail is in my future

less than the main kit...
the tail arms with the main, no magic needed. TH on-off-on-off-fly

Still have a lot of details to work out, not sure what settings are best to flash the tail esc with, or boom length on mild and wild, etc.

Also the motors have a 6mm mounting boss, all other HP0xT's were 5.5mm so not sure what's up with that!

I used the stock length boom and default BLHeli 9.4 XP3A tail settings to start off with on my mild kit. When I get some time later today, I will do a little experimenting with different settings.
