MCPX BL Microheli parts compatibility issue
I have the following items:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MicroHeli-MH...item43e0828eb3 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Microheli-Al...item5b107c6184 http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Microhel...item51be0cc05d The tail boom doesn't fit into the frame. The frame's hole is bigger than the microheli tail boom's carbon part. I wonder probably the 2.5 mm stock mcpx bl tail boom would fit. However, the microheli tail motor mount fits this microheli tail boom, which means that if I buy a stock MCPX bl tail boom, the microheli tail boom mount will not fit.The tail motor mount seems to be expecting a 3 mm tail boom. What shall I do? |

If I buy a mcpx bl tail boom, will it fit into the microheli frame? I think the mcpx bl tail boom is 2.5 mm and the mcpx tail boom is 2 mm right? Then I need to find a way to get the mcpx bl tail boom to fit into the microheli tail motor mount, because I think it is expecting a 3 mm tail boom..... |

I just got the lynx mcpx bl stretch tail boom. It is 2.5 mm and should fit the frame. However the microheli tail motor mount is expecting a 3 mm tail boom. How can I make it fit? |

I found the stock 2.5 mm MCPX BL tail boom not fitting the micro heli frame either. The hole for the tail mount is exactly 2.5 mm, but there should be some bumps that make sure I cannot rotate the tail boom once it is in. But there isn't. After I inserted the tail boom, I can rotate it anyway I wanted.
I am totally confused as to who designed this. |

Get a Rakon tail boom holder and from Astroid Designs a pair of CF adapters from the Rakon to the MH. That's what I use on both of my HP06 MH monsters.
While you are at it chck out Dylan's cool bottom mount / tail boom bracket. It is much wider than the MH part. It will actually help stabilize the boom and not break the suports in the first crash.
