Are you in Iraqi territory as well??

If so
Well then your in alot of trouble.

Lets calculate shall we???

1. Been gone from home for a while
2. You will be back in 3 weeks (finger wount be in any holes, well maybe all depends how kinky she is LOL).
3. 9 months until you get feeling back properly in finger.

Last one scares me with the combination of the other 2 items... maybe baby by then will be arriving at the same time and no time for heli's anyways LOL..

Due to nerve damage (long story) I don't have any pressure sensitivity in my right thumb, so I learned to fly with thumb and fore finger. (claws) Have you tried that?

Just a thought. Don't get discouraged. And feel free to piss and moan here anytime!

I am hoping that in time [how long?] i will be able to get my finger and thumb together and actually get some sort of control/pressure between them. On the bright side, it is so nice to have the cast off!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for you kind words guys

Mike

ps Wolfie, I am not in I-Rack, thankfully, so no baby on the way!!!!!!!!!! LOL Vivid imagination!!!!!!!

They look interesting!! I am hoping that with a bit of persistance [and probably pain] that the thumb will "give" a bit, and get more flexible.

Mike

Had 4 great flights today, I still can't get over how well this thing goes, It really does look so smooth in the air in spite of it's size.

I was going to try and loop it but the wind got progressivly worse through the day and I chickened out.

Very pleased with my Sonix Mini Titan swash it is noticably more precise than the UGT 05 one and only cost me £12 plus £2.50 pp

All the best

Ian

Are you working with a physical therapist? If so, be sure and tell them you want to fly RC. Once I told my guy, he came up with a weighted contraption to help get the ol' thumb to flex and pull in the right direction. Still can't feel pressure, but I can fly with it.

It took a while, and it hurt like a bastard, but it was well worth it. Never give up! (and don't let the bastards see ya sweat )

Ian...I'm sorry brother....you're gonna hate me...

I know you wanted some 'inspiration to catch up'....so here it comes. Over 5 minutes of just plain sillyness! I had an AWESOME day! 8 packs...no crashes...I'm totally comfortable with flips, loops, and inverted (ok...maybe a little nervous inverted) but hours of sim time this week really paid off! Now I just need to work on collective management to make them as tight as I want or as loose as I want. by the 8th pack I was getting pretty comfortable. lol...check the one thing I did about half way through the video..It was toally unintentional but man it turned out cool. I pulled back, went inverted, held it there, then rolled it 180 so it was back toward me then flew it past me nose in!

I decided to try 2 right aileron rolls. They were ugly, but its one more hurdle I'm over. I have the confidence I can do them, just need to tighten them up a bit.

a 5 minute pack full of continuous loops, flips, 2 somersaults, and 2 rolls...MAN! WHAT AN AWESOME FEELING! it'll take a bit for it to upload.
