How long will a battery hold its charge when not being used?

LiPos aren't similar to NiMHs or NiCDs in any way or form, so losing charge over storage time is very unlikely.
I'd like to say my LiPos dropped less than a full volt in maybe.. a year of not touching them?
Or maybe even 6 months, I'd say you're fine.

If you do plan to go away for awhile, put the lipos on a Storage charge, which is 3/4 charge.

That's about 3.8V per cell for storage.
