It looks to me that all the Lynx upgrades that are about to be released already exist. I would be interested in (1) a longer FBL unit support and (2) a more reliable quick release canopy support since the SAB magnetic canopy mounts have met with mixed experiences with the magnets falling off.

Seems to keep the tail higher off the ground compared to the SAB carbon skids.

Correct?

Tail looks to sit as high as with the flippers.

NICE!

like my tail high so had made a spacer from a 2,5mm ( x2 ) carbon plate to go with the the SAB landing gear raising the tail to 5mm , I kept them om with the Lynx upgrade so my tailfin is @ 8.3 cm , thats about 3 cm higher than with the SAB gear
all my helis have a forward tilt , have made abit of mode also on my 6HV and the HD500 just to raise the tail , my landing spot is full of gravel so its nice with a raised tail

that was a good idea using cutting board to level your heli

got to do that with my 6HV for better leveling for the rescue calibrating setup ( vbar NEO )

You actually need three adjustment points on the leveling table to do it right. If you only use two, the back half of the leveling table is slaved to the angle of the table it is sitting on. You only have adjustment of what would be the "elevator" of the heli.

If you use three, you have full adjustment in all directions. Or more specifically, "elevator" and "aileron". You can actually make the table truly level.

A while back, Nelsonisms and I made a few of these tables. Here is the thread about them if you are looking for some ideas.

Yes I have 3, but for the 380 to raise up high enough I had to take one out to drop it the one side low enough and yet have the side to side adjustment.
I was able to get it 100% level doing this.

All my other birds, all 3 adjustable legs can stay in. I have to see about longer adjustable legs for doing the 380 do to it's big rake stance even before the Lynx skids.

These tables sure are better than paper and CD cases. A lot faster set up also.

I just used a Walmart plastic cutting board and 3 adjustable table legs.
Drilled 3 holes the legs arm tight in but slide up and down threw. The used fender washers and nuts on underside to hold the height.
I have crown nuts for on top when I do smaller birds to use as them as thumb screws to turn the legs to adjust.

These tables have been around here and there since fly bar but Nelsonisms and KiloXray revived them. They are where I first seen them and started researching different styles and whys to build them.

I can not take credit for the idea. Many people before me have done it.

Little breezy today but we had fun up until my TX started to yell at me "Low Battery" lol (yes I have the Lipo already)
Tammy had some great flights on her LEAP 3D. Her Hyper needs tuning, so didn't get that in air. Lift off we seen the issues. She gets better every flight.
Matthew Cramer flew the snot out of his OXY's again and he is getting the X3 tuned in for his style flying. (Instead of it being set up for my style.)
380 flew smooth but needs some gain tuning. Blade 360 needs some more checking. Even tuned, perfect CG and vib free it had tail drop like it is still tail heavy. We suspect the stab getting pushed down from main blade wash. Took the stab off at home and see what that does. Over all great time at the field today.

Goblin 380 first flight and flight tuning (7 min 7 sec)
