saw the video. but express software don't have optimizers right? i not home to check right now.

You dont have to, but do yourself a favor and upgrade to Pro. You get better setup options and an overall better flying heli when running 5.2 pro.

I found phasing issues with just a normal roll. First I rolled it inverted, and everything seemed fine. After going through with the roll, I ended up with the tail some degrees off. I never noticed this before, probably because I wasn't really looking for it.

you say to rotate the heli 90 degrees to the right and then check for forward flight. the forward flight could only be to the right since i turned the heli 90 to the right. so, why do you say to rotate the swash "in the direction the heli moved"? it can only have moved to the right, isn`t it?
then a few lines ahead you say "will start forward or reverse flight?. now i understood that a fter turning the heli 90 to the right and stopping it, the heli will nod and will either move forward or backwards. now it makes sense to me. if it moves forward i should add some degrees so the swash turns right and if it moves backwards i have to add degrees for the swash to turn left?

what makes a heli slowly rotates ccw as it tic-tocs (elevator tic-tocs)? little tail gain? pre-comp? i can`t make the tail wag no matter how much gain i add to it. what could be the cause for this? thanks.

Ready2.... If it only moves a little left (nose) during the stops then I'd say increase pre-comp. if it's slowly rotating the whole time then it seems it would do it in all flight and not just tic tocs
