Default Trex 800E setup

I am setting up my Trex 800E to and have leveled the swash plate. Only problem is when I check the pitch from the front to back there is about a 1 degree difference. Its not the blade grips as those are zeroed in. If I adjust the back servo on the swashplate to zero the pitch the swash plate is not precisely level. Has anyone had this issue before?

This will happen bc you prob had to add some subtrim to the servos in order to 90 them. 1 degree difference in pitch is nothing. As long as you're hitting 10 degrees cyclic and 13 collective everywhere without bindng you're golden. FBL will take care of the rest.

There isn't a heli I've seen that's dead on perfect all the way around unless you got extremely lucky and got all servo horns at perfect 90 without any subtrim

When you say front to back, are you talking about with the blades 90 degrees from the tail boom? You need a perfectly level swash, IMO. So instead of adjusting the servos and messing up the swash level, adjust the blade grip to swash links a turn at a time to get 0 pitch.

Well, I got the blade pitch within 1 degree and reduced the head speed to 1800 and the bird flies great now. Once I got the 800 flying nice I went back to the 700 and re-leveled the SwashPlate and readjusted the pitch on the blades. Took it out for a flight and man it flew great.
