Bellcrank shaft play?

Anyone else got some slop on the bellcranks? They move on the shaft about 0.75mm. Both bolts are solidly tightened.

In and out play right? Mine has that, no problems so far.

OK thanks. Still doesn't seem right? I imagine there is a quite a bit of stress going through that part?

My right one has a little play, left one is tight. No issues so far...

As was mentioned, it is normal to have a little play there. Since the load from the swash control is not lateral it really isn't under any extra stress or anything. What some have done, including myself, is to put a .5mm shim under the torx bolt head that goes over the post. A few people I have seen have even machined a tiny (like .25mm) off the end of the post.

Anyway, it is up to you whether you want to address it, it is not necessary but as will all things... less play is a little more possible precision and if you are needing that extra .00005 precision in control it is worth it :-) Or if you are OCD like me LOL

Thanks, I did consider filing away a small amount of material but if it's not going to cause an issue as is then I won't bother
