Default FBL Unit?

Of the people flying the Velocity 90, what is the most popular flb unit? I have come to the conclusion that my CGY 750 just doesn't pair well with the Velocity. It flys but just not as well as I would like it to.

Thanks,
Scott

I use the v-bar silver line at the moment. Working really great.

the benefit using the v-bar simply is the integrated governor. So no additional unit required. The new silver line sensor actually is less sensitive on vibration and works very well on nitro machines. However in addition to v-bar and beast you may want to have a look at the iKon. Its also handling such vibration levels very well and does have a governor too.

Have you upgraded to the new firmware for the 750 if not you may want to give it a shot I have heard that its a lot better than before. You might want to check in the Futaba forum to see what the update is all about. I have the ikon fbl system in my velo 50 but have not flown it yet so I can't suggest it as a replacement unit just yet but the reviews on the unit have been positive for the most part.

I have the IKON on mine and it works great. I also used the Spektrum backplate sensor for the Gov. Very easy to setup and no problems at all.

Default Outrage and AR7200BX

I'm using the Spektrum AR7200BX. Flying with the pre-programmed modes and really like it. Could not be simpler to set up.

that's a lot of great info. Thank you all so much, however I am considering selling due to lack of time to fly these days but I don't see many people interested in Outrage kits lately. Too bad because I was thinking motor, muffler, kit with tail up grade, throttle and tail servo in the 500 range just to get batt's for the one electric I have.
