Also, when I was doing this bench test (by myself), I was not giving any input from the tx, I was only holding it and gently tilting it and could feel the power transfer. The more I would tilt it the more power the NAZA would apply.
Okay, got it now and I did misread, as in thinking you meant sending a signal from your TX to accomplish a tilt. Sorry to waste your time like that. You're quite right. So, now that we've got that straightened out, what do the motors do when you do apply inputs from the sticks?

Your not wasting my time (shame on you, lol), in fact you are a mentor along with the others who are helping. I'm not at home now so I cannot verify the stick commands are true, but I think they are. I will double check the NAZA set up and what is actually happening to the hex. Thanks

Well, well, well, .................it flies, nicely too. I had another set of eyes today and he figured it out. Turns out I was following the schematic in the GAUI build manual and they have a layout diagram of the motors 1-6, in a clockwise direction and they are arranged this way to work on "their controller" its called the GAUI, GU-INS. And if you look at the NAZA layout on the assistant, the NAZA motor layout is counter clockwise . And this was throwing my hexo 180* off. I am so relieved and happy to fly it.

I want to give a BIG thanks to all you guys for sticking with me on this, it says a lot about this community. Hope I can be as helpful some day.

Just a follow up, I cannot get over how well this hex flies compared to my Phantom. I'm using a 3S 5200 mAh battery and getting 10 minute flights, it's smooth silent and powerful.

Hey, that's so great to hear after all your trials and tribulations! When you've worked so hard on something, it just makes it that much more satisfying when success is finally in hand. Good for you! Do post some pictures/videos when you get a chance.
