Default flybar weight comparison

I wasn't able to find this info anywhere and I looked for quite some time so I apologize if it's covered here and I somehow missed it. Can someone please tell me what the microheli, rkh and xtreme flybars weigh for the 120sr? I would like to get one for obvious reasons discussed all over the internet but I want to get the one with the best weight to performance ratio. Thanks for your help and happy flying.

I don't think there is much, if any, information on this on the net. And, I don't think there is an obvious reason for switching. If I remember right (and it has been a long time), the few who switched were not happy with the "upgrades".

A few people have been happy with adding weight to the paddles of the stock fly-bar. This was by adding small screws to the outside edge of the paddles. Myself, the stock parts on the Blade 120 SR are the best for all round flying. The only modification I've made is to shorten each of the main rotor blades by 5 - 8 mm. Rebalance and fly.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't want to upgrade this heli by any means I just heard that the stock flybar would wear out in the center and that an aftermarket one was a worthwhile "upgrade". This is mainly gonna be for my kids to move up to 4ch helis so I think I'll save the money for more important things. Thanks again.

If the heli is primarily for your kids then don't waste money for an aftermarket flybar. The stock ones are cheap to replace if they get damaged. A flybar upgrade will not make the heli fly better...it will only add to the response you get from your control movement. The aftermarket flybars can make the heli respond more quickly and for a novice flyer that can add to more crashes. Many folks like to add all the bling and most of this just adds weight and while making some parts more unbreakable they add to the breakability of those parts they are attached to. As a pilots flying skills improve certain upgrades such as a flybar can improve response time but a pilot needs to have the skills to react to this shorter response or you will find yourself in a crash with even more expensive parts to replace. Hope this helps..........
