I have about 7 flights on my XXtreme now and the Futaba BLS157HV are working great! I'm running them 2s direct with a Thunder Power G6 Prolite 2s 2700mAh.

Futaba BLS156HV on cyclics and Savox 2272HV on tail all running 8v through a Western Robotics Super BEC spliced into the negative side of the YGE ESC using one pack.
Futaba servo's are super quiet, Savox tail has the usual drone to it.

Futaba BLS157HV on cyclic - 37.0 kg • cm, or 513.83 oz • in @ 7.4V should do the trick.
Futaba BLS256HV on the tail. At the moment, I'm planning to use a WR Super BEC to power them. |

Don't use a WR , with T18 telemetry after flight I read on display MAX 8,4 MIN 3,9V!!! I try again and read MIN 4,1V I try with a volmeter with the X on a table and is real....volts go down, very impressive! Now I go with 2S lipos...8,4V MAX, 7,6V MIN ...

Either you have a faulty WR or you the logging measure too short peaks. Yes, _ALL_ WR drops if you measure with oscilloscope, that will ALL BEC do, and the drop can many times be huge, that is actually normal. But there is capacitors in the system for this. question, do you get errors in the VBar log? If so = WR is bad. If not, its still Ok. |

I explain how I did: I set the update of the telemetry data on the t18 every 0.3 seconds. Telemetry recorded undermine the peak voltage of 3.9 V. imposed if the reading of data every 0.5 seconds the result is equal. are fractions of a second and my fear is the failsafe. to avoid, I put two lipo direct. You think I'm wrong?
Hi and thanks for reply, best regards!

Ok thanks for reply.
Another question concerns the performance of the servos in working with these tensions. I guess with 2S lipo servos working properly ....or not??

Yes, BUT, if the drop is short it does not matter....
Sorry but you have to post the eventlog if i am going to be able to say more like i said this might be a totally moot discussion. As if the telemetry is 'too sensitive' for its own good, event log will tell that. |
