Default Xtreme "red" canopy

This is a warning to all nano pilots
Don't wast your money on an xtreme canopy from eBay or anywhere else. This thing is JUNK!
1. It was suppose to be red...don't know if you can tell from pictures but it's more like fluorescent orange!
2. They put this stupid sticker right on the front that doesn't peal off! As you can see this is going to take me forever!
3. The decal sheet I got was all crumbled up...I don't even know if I can salvage them. There sitting I between some books now.
4. The canopy is slightly to big and gets in the way of the left and right servos.
5. The canopy does not seem to be as durable as the stock. It's all one piece but I think after a decent crash it's going to be toast. I'm not sure though being that I haven't flown with it yet.

All that aside it's shape and design are nice. A one piece canopy +1. Looks cool to. Now if only I had mad air brushing skills and that damn sticker would come off and my decal turn out flat again! Annnnnd I don't mess up trimming it so it doesn't interfere with servo travel.

You know there is a plastic coating you need to peel off right? I have several of these for the MSR and MCPX and they are quite good.

Ha ha it's there. Keep tweaking an edge. It's a very thin film.

I had the same reaction when I saw the canopy from extreme for the blade 130x. I'll have to double check about the thin film, because those big stickers are driving me nuts. But it does seem fairly cheaply made..... And slightly annoying that you have to cut up all the stickers yourself. It does look like it could be fairly sharp however.....

I was going to get one. I didn't know you needed an art degree to install it. Maybe I'll stick to what I have.

So are the ones for the 120SR - 130X

And btw...there is a tattle-tale chip embedded in the decal sheet...

So you need to use every decal

Lol....maybe that film will act as extra crash protection....so no pics of me taking it off haha but I can send you pics of me cutting out these freakin decal which I'm sure are gonna look like crap when I'm done exacto knifing them out lol....I have a feeling my red xtreme canopy with the decals....will be more like a hot fluorescent orange blank canopy with protective film on it.

Nope. But here is how they come out if you do the detailing.

I like those decals better than mine. And at least you canopy wasn't advertised as red and is fluorescent orange!

Man those decals were a nightmare!
I may of went a little overboard on them but oh well. Turned out pretty good except for a few small bubble around some edges and some decals don't line up exactly with each side. I don't think you can tell unless you really look at it though. I have about 10 extra decals if someone wants them. It's enough to do 1 canopy and 2 tail fins. Just let me now and I'll mail them out.
