New Quad guy with my first build
Hey guys new to Quad builds but been flying RC for a long time mainly Heli's. Really been wanting to jump into the FPV Quadcopter so I started a build. Went with the QAV250 to start with. Here is the first part of my build video... Part 2 coming soon. I am sure I will be asking you guys a ton of questions. Hope you don't mind if I hang out over in the Multi Rotor rooms...

An alligator clip, or a pair of fine tip needle nose pliers, works wonders when you have a wire that floats up and doesn't want to get inside the solder ball on the board.

Welcome sir. I am in the same boat as you. Long time in the hobby, progressed through several rtf quads, now I'm building a TBS discovery. I lurked here for the last few months gathering knowledge. Now if my damn ESC's would show up I could get started. That QAV 250 is cool, might be my next build. I was at getfpv the other day and Tim (designer) was showing it off out front. That little quad sure can flip! Good luck with the build!
