Thanks Robert! A few more from today.

My "cameraman" and I went on a little road trip from our cottage today. We ended up in Cadillac, MI. When I was getting ready to fly, I found my "cameraman" had gone awol on me. I found him right here, goofing off in the water...

Found some old train tracks after that too. I am not too happy with the exposure on this one. I had tried to increase the depth of field on this one, but ended up with a more down angle on the shot, so no sky, and this really slowed the shutter speed and put in some blur. But it was fun anyways!

Then I got that boy working again tonight for some sunset shots.

After that when we got back to the cottage tonight he wanted to know if he could play the helicopter crashing game on my PC. "Oh, you mean the flight simulator?" Yeah, he says. "It's a flight simulator, not a flight crasher I told him!!!"

some playing around this afternoon. you can see what summer does to our grass if you don't water it at least 40 minutes a day.

Nice pic, DJ. That's the one thing I do remember from my childhood visit to Phoenix. If you didn't have a sprinkler system, you didn't have a lawn.

Nice DJ,

Colors look good in the picture. What camera were these taken with?

What is the wooden structure in your backyard?

Nice DJ,

I forgot to ask, is this your eraptor?

Also, this picture looks night and day with respect to lawns from your picture yesterday. Did you give them lawns (even the park is pretty green) in photoshop, or are these folks just very diligent about their 40 mintues of water a day??? If you did photoshop, did you do a blanket color replace or what? ( I would like to know the trick as it looks very uniform across the picture up to about 1 inch from the top of the picture, and I would like to be able to use this at times.)

Also, you never said yet what camera you're using.

For scenic, I vote for some mountains please...

I have nothing but flat land around here...

nope not the E-Raptor. It's still grounded. Hope to fly it this week though.

As for the colors it's all natural. Maybe the morning light plays off the greens better. Yesterdays shot was taken around 1pm. sun was directly overhead and very harsh. This mornings shot was at 7:20. warmer light.

For these shot's I've been using my point and shoot Nikon Coolpix L1 6 megapixel.

I'm thinking of coing up to my dad's property near Pinetop, AZ sometime this month. beautiful forest and mountains everywhere. Sure to get some good shots up there.

Kinda perty little place. I tried to take it with the sun to my back but the other side of the property had a snarling dog who ran right up to us as soon as I got out of the van.

So we went to the other side to launch the heli.

Here's my shot from today. Took off from my back yard while the light was good outside. Temperature outside was about 95 degrees...performance is NOT good during the hot part of the day (DUH!).

Edit: Camera used was a Canon S2 IS 5.1Mp. A Raptor 50SE lifted the HCS Pro 60-3X underslung mount.

Hey guys, do you think we could post what camera was used for the photo, and maybe which heli?

I am getting into aerial photography with a swift 16, and am still picking out a camera.

Do you think a nikon 7900 would be able to give me pics that are as nice of quality as some of the ones posted above?

A couple of shots from my 4th of July vacation week.

This is one I took of one of our local lakes for the July 1st Day in the life of AP thread over on RCGroups.

And here is another I (I mean my wife took, I just flew as it was windier than crap this day, so she ran the camera.) This is Forest Lake in West Branch Michigan. We went there to visit my in-laws.
