Default neXt demo error
Trying to evaluate this by running the demo. I get an error message about the "required frame rate not reached..."

Mainly I want to see if it's more hardware-friendly than Phoenix which no longer runs well on my old notebooks.

That means your hardware can't keep up with the default quality settings. Try turning them down a little.
